    I visited here a couple of years ago and it’s gone downhill sorry to say. The spa facilities are tired. The changing rooms are falling apart. The pool area is nice but the jacuzzi was out of service. The steam and saunas are nice. Unfortunately one sauna was out of service. No offer of drinks before a treatment, last time I visited the staff were on hand with cold and hot drinks to offer, felt like you were being rushed through to the treatment rooms. The afternoon tea was a bit of a shambles. We were put on a table with no tea spoons, dirty cups, no side plates or napkins. I had to get these myself as the staff seem to disappear. We had dietary requirements that weren’t met to a good standard for the sandwiches. Wouldn’t visit again unfortunately. I will say the treatments and the professionalism of the staff were fantastic.

    Tatty spa facilities, unpleasant smell. Party of 4, 2 x 25 minute treatments each booked , 1 of the party only got 35 mins total for both treatments

    Spa day was purchased as a gift, overall had better experiences for the money. The spa was a bit run down and could have done with decor updating, think yellowing paint, skirting cracking away from the walls and peeling wall paper. We also had an issue in that they had booked our treatments in a double room without asking if that’s what we wanted. When we said we wanted separate and the costs warranted separate they were very accommodating and adjusted the day to allow for this but meant we were in robes, had to dress for lunch in the restaurant, then had to undress again for treatments. We ended up being there 2.5 hours longer than expected. Spa Staff were great but bookings team let them down here.

    Spa was fantastic, visited with friends but all booked separate so our spa and afternoon tea timings where all different. Staff were amazing they managed to rearrange to allow us to have our treatment and afternoon tea at the same time. Very welcoming and friendly, especially Pat in the restaurant, thank you!
