    Unfortunately our experience at this spa was not what we expected after previous stays and online reviews. We were very surprised by the lack of maintenance and general up keep of the whole spa and gym areas and the facilities in general. From the very start we were met with changing room locker doors that were hanging off the hinges and then we struggled to try and find one that worked and we could actually lock our valuables away safely. We went to use the gym and noticed that quite a number of the exercise machines were out of order and were just stored in a corner of the room. This included at least 2 running machines and an exercise bike. We could only find one running machine that actually worked. Electrical wires and plugs were above floor level and easily a trip and safety hazard. We then went to use the pool and jacuzzi which to us is an important feature of using a spa. However the jacuzzi was again out of order and we were told we should have been notified of this, however unfortunately we were not ! A gym member advised on the day that the jacuzzi had been out of order for at least 4 months ! I honestly believe we should have been notified of this so that we could review our choice of spa !! Also the pool was really cold, a lot colder than usual which again was apparently due to a maintenance issue that the hotel / spa was currently having ! There was also l a broken glass window in the pool area, which again is a health and safety issue!! The showers were either freezing cold or boiling hot and there was only 1 peg to hang your towel on for all 3 showers !! We were really disappointed by the lack of upkeep and general maintenance of this spa and will not be paying to go again until the issues have been rectified. We really did not expect this from a Hilton Hotel and feel really disappointed and let down by this experience.

    The spa was small but very clean. Treatments were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hot tub was out of action during our visit which was a shame, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

    The spar and pool very basic with some areas not available and treatments cancelled and messed up the whole Routine. but the spar treatments themselves were lovely and the lady was super she did a great job so would reccomend her and all the staff were lovely too in this area on the pool area too very nice and helpful. The availability on tap you have to book a day or so ahead as they are not on site all day so we could not add others on whilst we were there so that was a shame .
