    my first time at a spa and i thought it was amazeing staff from the word go were really helpful and abligeing food was great i couldnt complain about anything have recomended it to my friend thank you so much for your kindness everyone sorry for spelling mistakes diane walker

    Very Good
    Although it was evident that the Spa was undergoing a new lick of paint, there was no fore-warning of this from the Spa themselves. The female changing room was out of order and therefore we had to use the mens changing room (obviously the men were given a separate area). However aside from the obvious restrictions of more urinals than toilets, the only toilet had a broken lock. Ok, fair enough it's all temporary and fixable but we then entered the extremely cold pool (and I'm not over exaggerating here, when I say that there was no heating of it at all!) It was ice cold and although some of us were brave enough to get in, thinking we would warm up by swimming, it just felt colder and colder. I got cramp it was so cold! Several members said to us "it's always cold", so I didn't bother to complain at the time. The jacuzzi, steam room and sauna area was small but nice enough. There was minimal seating to relax by the poolside and the spa reception was not exactly relaxing for a hot drink with the staff sat at the desk watching you and new members filling in membership forms around you. It wasn't warm enough either when you are sitting around in a damp robe waiting for a coffee (which we had to ask for.) The spa break website stated hot drinks available throughout the day but there are no facilities in the spa to help yourself. On the positives though the mini facial treatments I booked for my Mum and I as her birthday treat were wonderful and of a very high standard, (I think Bev & Dani were our therapists). The shower after was great, powerful and hot! The Crabtree & Evelyn products were lovely. Overall, we managed to enjoy most of our day but these little things do make a big difference, so unfortunately we won't be returning 😕

    We had a lovely day at the Spa, treatment was great and afternoon tea fabulous. One negative was the robes were on the small side so it was a bit embarrassing when it would not fit and when asked for a larger one was told that was all they had and I ended up wearing my own clothes.

    Spa facilities were small and crowded. Staff was unhelpful, hot water in the shower wasn’t working. The only good thing was the dinner and the waiter was lovely
