    Don’t bother! As you enter the leisure facilities the people on the desk were not very helpful. We were told we couldn’t have robes as they were only for guests having treatments yet the booking said we would be offered robes and a towel. The changing rooms are very small with limited private changing areas and only 2 hairdryers. The pool itself is very dirty with large amounts of dirt on the steps as you enter the pool. We visited on a weekend and in the pool a large space was being used for children’s swimming lessons so not really a ‘relaxing spa experience’. Furthermore, the jacuzzi is tiny and can fit around 3 people in. Some of us booked separate spa treatments and these were nice however expensive for what you received. Overall, I wouldn’t waste your money.

    Unfortunately my experience wasn't the best experience. The treatment room was cold and to make it worse, the madsage oil used was also cold this was put directly on my skin. I found the reception staff not very friendly and communication was poor they didn't inform me at the time of booking in charges applied for parking or why I had to pay £50 deposit for! Not only that I was asked on numerous associations to show proof of payment which I found very belittling they'd asked me upon arrival and then when I was checking out, not only that they weren't happy with me telling then my reservation number they wanted to see it on my phone to see how much I'd paid. I have booked through spabreaks numerous time and I have never been challenged like this my any other hotel I've stayed. I can honestly say this has put me off and I don't think I'd stay at this hotel again. I'd booked this for a special occasion and feel that my time and money wasn't spent well or value for money.

    We went as a couple to relax and spend some time together and although I’d emailed the hotel and they’d confirmed…we weren’t book in together. It was nice but we spent the whole time apart. No robes available on arrival, no water to drink. The therapist was amazing but the treatment started late too

    The spa has good options for treatments and what is avaliable. However is a little run down can use a bit of paint. Also treatment paying so much for x2 50min massage at least put pressure like asked in the form.

    Excellent
    We had a wonderful day at the Spa retreat. The therapists were both excellent, friendly and experienced. The pool and restaurant were very good, clean and relaxing. We have had massages previously but this time was by far the best experience. Can't wait to book again. Thank you
