- Overall, our stay was nice, but we were quite disappointed with the experience. The hotel has a lot of potential to offer a luxurious experience at a reasonable price, but it has been too tailored to families. We felt a bit out of place and it wasn't the most relaxing of the environments. The quality of the food at the restaurant (Bistro) was quite average given the price. Again, the ambience of the restaurant was more tailored for families and it was rather noisy and not very comfortable. Most staff are nice, especially those at the restaurant, but with the rest we had mixed experiences. Staff at reception (with some exceptions) were nice but didn't give us much information upon arrival. We needed to find out later that we required reservation for the breakfast (never told about this upon arrival, not even times and location for breakfast). There was also a lot of miscommunication about what our package exactly included (we bought 2 nights with access to Victorian baths and one treatment per person). At reception we were told to check with the spa about booking the slots for our treatments. At the spa we were told these have already been booked (even if we hadn't) and that the Victorian baths weren't included. After showing our voucher from Spabreaks we were eventually given access to the baths, but it was also unclear whether we were allowed only one visit. Although the area was superb, I don't think I would return

- The Hotel is like something out of a film. Its huge and there is so much to do. I had an amazing stay and the staff were all lovely and polite. thanks again x
- The room was comfortable and the staff were professional and friendly. However, the table were too close togather in the dining area and the place was overcrowded. There was nowhere where you could find pieace and quiet. Too many people crammed in.

If you are staying in the hotel then check in is from 3pm and check out is 11am. You are welcome to arrive early and use the facilities from 10am. Self-Catering check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Early or late check in/check out can be arranged when you book. The spa is open from 9.30am to 6pm weekdays and 9am to 6pm on weekends. It is suggested you check your specific arrival times however for your spa break, as well as any changes for bank holidays.
