A stately home in the heart of Perthshire. Crieff Hydro Hotel is a historic estate surrounded by 900 acres of grounds. With 150 years of history, the hotel first opened in 1868 under the guidance of Dr Thomas H. Meikle. Over the years it’s been expanded and renovated but remains under the ownership of the same family, now run by Stephen Leckie, the original founder's great-great-grandnephew.
Set across 900 acres of Perthshire countryside, Crieff Hydro Hotel is easy to get to by car. They have free on-site parking for guests at both the hotel and self-catering lodges. The closest train stations are Gleneagles, Perth or Dunblane which are all around a 30-minute drive away. The closest airports are Glasgow or Edinburgh which are both about a one hour drive from the hotel.

If you are staying in the hotel then check in is from 3pm and check out is 11am. You are welcome to arrive early and use the facilities from 10am. Self-Catering check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Early or late check in/check out can be arranged when you book. The spa is open from 9.30am to 6pm weekdays and 9am to 6pm on weekends. It is suggested you check your specific arrival times however for your spa break, as well as any changes for bank holidays.
