On the edge of the Cotswolds, Cricklade House Hotel and Fritillary Spa sits in the town of Cricklade between Swindon and Cirencester. The nearest train station is Swindon, which is a 30-minute taxi ride away. For those who are driving, the hotel is just a short distance from the A419 and there is plenty of on-site parking.

Cricklade House Hotel was originally built around 1920 as a private house. While it retains many of its original features, such as the magnificent Victorian-style glass conservatory which runs the full length of the original building, it has since been updated to become a four-star luxury hotel. The Fritillary Spa is the latest addition, named for the Fritillary flower, a special flower that only flowers for a short time each year. They were first recorded growing in the wild in 1736, and some of the best best-known fritillary fields sit along the flood meadows of the Thames.
