    Lovely spa area but shortage of lounger beds. All had towels on!! Fabulous back massage and facial but two of us were very disappointed that the relaxing room was closing as we finished our treatments. For us, the opportunity to relax in a darkened room is part of the experience and this should have been pointed out when we booked. The spa closed at 5. Would put me off booking this venu again despite the rest of the experience being very positive.

    We really enjoyed the spa lunch and the treatments. The saunas and pool areas are lovely but it was not mentioned upon booking that the morning is a children’s pool session at Cottons, so it was busy and noisy in the pool area and not relaxing! All the beds/nearly all the chairs were also taken. The saunas and Jacuzzi were not too busy though, and when we came back after our treatments at 11 the pool was quieter. Unfortunately the shower I used in the women’s changing room was only lukewarm, which was the most disappointing thing! My husband’s shower was nice and hot though.

    Ww loved the treatment and the afternoon tea but the spa was full of members taking up all the beds and seats. The towels were clean but very tired looking and there was no water on poolside. You could get this by knocking on the reception window, but these staff had more than 1 role so you often had to wait. A basket for used towels would also be a help. Overall a nice day but a few areas that might be enhanced.
