I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt that I should following my experience with Corrick House. I took my Mum here for a pre wedding day pamper. Overall, we had a lovely time, our massages and facials were really beautiful and left us feeling relaxed and revitalised; but I feel it would have been better had staff communicated better with each other. We felt that we were constantly having to ask for things which had been included within our package, such as using the serenity suite, Prosecco with our afternoon tea etc. Staff did not seem to know which package we had booked, and we just felt that we were bothersome at times by asking when we would be going etc. We were booked into the serenity suite for an hour at 11.45, when we had afternoon tea booked for 1, so the masseuse kindly pushed this back until 1.30.
We had booked Prosecco afternoon tea, which was to be served in the conservatory. When we arrived to the conservatory, we were told that we couldn’t sit in it as there was a wedding party coming in, and we were seated in the restaurant. We understood when we couldn’t sit it the conservatory, however were annoyed when guests who came in after us were seated in the conservatory, who were not wedding guests. When our food came out after a wait, the bread on the sandwiches were stale, and there were salmon sandwiches when I specifically asked for no fish when I booked. We had to ask for our Prosecco, which came as we were finishing our food.
Staff were pleasant and the facilities were spotless. Sadly I felt that the disorganisation left us feeling a bit flustered at times, and the afternoon tea was not a positive experience.
