    A group of us visited this spa and were very happy with the therapists. One of my friends had had a previously bad experience with a massage at another spa but the therapist at Castlenook put her at ease and restored her confidence. The massages and facials were fantastic. However, the spa facilities itself were disappointing and not 5 star quality. The steam room was not operational, the shower and changing rooms had dirty floors with lots of hairs in the shower (yuk) from the time we arrived to the time we left. It does not appear to be regularly cleaned. The steam room was not working and the pool had a fitness class in it so we did not get to use the pool much before our spa appointments. The towels given are thin small towels and it would be much better if we had thick bath sheets. The changing room was tiny and overcrowded and dirty - again not 5 star quality. However, the spa relaxation room was lovely and the afternoon tea was also good. I am surprised this hotel is part of spa breaks exclusive collection.

    Had the best time at castleknock spa. We picked the relaxation to tea package. Tailored facials and massages for me and my friends. Amazing facilities and the afternoon tea was delicious. Staff and facilities were 10/10.
