- Lovely hotel in peaceful surroundings. Spa facilities were good (we did not have any treatments), staff very helpful and food excellent at the hotel. Very spacious room with all amenities. Would highly recommend.
- The Spa was separate from the hotel and was also old and dirty. Signage was minimal, changing was communial and lockers were mostly broken. The steam room was out of order and on chatting with regulars, it has been for some time! The swimming pool was dirty with hairs floating through the water. From what we could see, there were no treatments available and after seeing the changing rooms and pool condition, didn't look to find out.

- On arrival, we were given the wrong room and wrong dinner options. These were corrected, but the upgrade certainly wasn't worth the expense. Also no complimentary water in the room. The room was tired and grubby and we even had to ask for a hairdryer and a tv remote control.
- We had a relaxing and enjoyable break . All the staff at the hotel including reception and restaurant and the spa facilities were very helpful.
- Warm comfy room, a little tatty in places. Evening meal overpriced for my taste. Breakfast excellent.
