    Poor
I wasn't going to leave a review but after being sent an email asking how my 'spa getaway' was I feel I must. From the start this was not a great experience. The entire facility was cold. Firstly, we got changed and headed to the swimming area/ hot tub. Upon entry there was a children's swimming lesson taking place which was incredibly noisy and not relaxing at all. We were splashed multiple times by the freezing cold pool water by children who were screaming loudly as their parents used the 'spa loungers' to relax whilst watching their children's lesson- in their shoes and coats. (Not a relaxing spa vibe at all) The steam and sauna rooms are so small you can barely fit 2 people in. Next we tried to get some lunch at the cafe but were told we should have pre ordered and the lady was 'too busy' to make us lunch, we watched as she then used her mobile phone several times, she only had 1 table to make food for also. We then tried to 'relaxation room' which is right next to the GYM of which you can hear the loud gym music and equipment being used, the room was also very cold. The massage was the only good thing about the experience. The rest was very poor- not like a spa at all. Avoid if you want a relaxing experience.

    Good
Good for a massage / treatment but not good if you’re after a ‘spa experience’. Bannatyne is not a spa, it’s a health club (aka a gym) with pool facilities so after you get your massage you just get to use the gym pool. If you’re after a spa then I’d recommend somewhere else.

Lovely relaxing day. Got couple classes in. Treatment s were amazing. Chill out room was nice and chilled but loungers weren’t as comfortable as the last time we went , which was disappointing, had new ones. Food was great. Just a lovely experience
