Everyone knows there’s plenty of high-octane fun at Alton Towers Hotel, but in the Alton Towers Spa, the fun is at an altogether more relaxed pace. The Aqua Relaxation Rooms feature extensive facilities such as a Laconium, sauna and Jacuzzi as well as a pool, steam room and tepidarium - ideal for a group to enjoy. Treatments use skincare brand Decleor for facials, massages and wraps and there are beauty finishing touches for a sprinkling of glam.

- The spa was lovely. It was quite quiet being a Friday morning,so we could go into the different rooms on our own. We had a mud treatment which was so much fun as we got to do it ourselves. We were quite shocked with the food we expected a tiny starter and maybe a few sandwiches but the food was lovely and really decent portions. For the money per person we did think it was worth it, as the food alone your looking at £46 (lunch menu is on the website) I choose the mud treatment as there would be no way my husband would have wanted a massage or facial so this was a compromise to get him to come with me to a spa. He did say he enjoyed it and that he felt totally relaxed by the time we left the resort.
- It was a lovely spa, very clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the treatment was absolutely amazing and so relaxing, Dinner, there isn’t a massive selection of things to eat if you don’t eat beef or seafood, the restaurant was lovely and clean though Staff very helpful, i some how managed to cut my toe open when getting out the pool, the staff member got in to the water and was checking the steps where I had done it so that she could report it, the staff member, cleaned and sorted my toe out for me and it was bleeding a lot
- 20 minute queue to get to the hotel as same lane as theme park. Staff in the spa lovely and helpful. Changing rooms poor no space to get changed. Spa area ok with some variety. Our facials were very good . Lunch was poor for me. Dry brioche bun no cheese on the vegetable burger . No milk and teaspoon for the coffee. Lipstick on my flat prosecco. And we had to walk through the hotel in robes past other dressed guests staying there to arrive in an empty dining room with no staff there to greet us for a few minutes despite arriving ar 12 prompt. There was a loud walkie talkie on near us and staff were talking banter over it. I had to ask them to turn it down. Not conducive with a relaxing lunch
- Lovely day out. Just needs somewhere for a light snack rather than having to book into the restaurant. Pool was little cold also.
