- The spa and the facilities are super but unfortunately we found the treatments to be quite average. My husband and I both had a back, neck & shoulder massage, the treatments were only 35 minutes (supposed to be 40 mins) and my husbands therapist spent the whole treatment sniffing and sounding very congested and full of cold so he was not able to enjoy his massage at all! For the spa lunch we had to pay an extra £15 for the steak and service ontop so this felt an unnecessary extra for what was already an expensive day.

- Sadly this was not the lovely spa weekend with my daughters for a special occasion that we hoped for. The hotel itself is beautiful and rooms were fabulous. The food on the other hand was definitely a 5star experience. Our food took an hour to come and it arrived cold the steak and chicken was cold the fries very hot. Choices limited and very expensive for the quality. Waitress was very kind and apologised. The spa was nice but tired in places chipped hot tub outside. But the worst thing was my facial, I have never had such a disinterested person do a very bad facial, I couldn’t wait for it to end . It’s such a shame as we live near and would do this regularly. I looking now for a better venue .
- We had a wonderfully relaxing and hospitable stay. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Nothing was too much.
- My first spa getaway for my partner's special birthday. Spabreaks made it super easy to choose the best one and gave me some handy tips in the build-up, as I was pretty clueless what it involved. It was great using all the facilities, then getting all the knots, aches and pains pressed out in the treatments. Felt like a new person, rounded up with a lovely lunch. Lots of brownie points from this one, as she loved it too. Thanks, roll on the next one!

- The staff were lovely but we waited almost an hour for breakfast which ate into our spa time and on top of that the breakfast was horrible. Poaching the eggs in so much vinegar all we could taste was vinegar and couldn't enjoy the meal which was so disappointing after waiting an hour for such a simple dish. The evening before the dinner was lovely but we had two people come up to take drink orders after our meal and they never came back, no one checked on us so we just left feeling really frustrated. Completely understand being understaffed at the holidays but it really let down our experience as a whole
- The hotel was well kept I only noticed two minor issues. Water pressure wasn’t powerful enough for the double shower and would’ve liked beans on my breakfast. Minor things but still a great stay.
- Excellent time spent at this lovely hotel. Everything was perfect, from the staff to the facilities. First class!
