Read full postA hotel spa in Yorkshire that makes full use of its scenic location, Chevin Country Park and Hotel brings a little bit of spa and wellbeing magic to the countryside. As a result, it’s a favourite for groups of friends celebrating or simply spending quality time together. Here are five reasons to visit…
Above the market town of Otley in West Yorkshire, surrounded by unspoiled woodland, Chevin Country Park Hotel spa in Yorkshire is a destination with complete escapism at its core. If you have yet to go to Yorkshire, you’re in for a treat. This magical part of the world is all kinds of beautiful, whether you spend your time roaming the countryside or visiting its abundant country houses, art and cultural hotspots ranging from Betty’s Cafe Tea Rooms in Harrogate to Fountains Abbey in Ripon.
With private fishing lakes, lovely walks and roaring log fires, the hotel grounds offer ample opportunity to relax and unwind with plenty to see and do. Go fishing, walking and cycling, play tennis or simply sit back and enjoy the view.
It goes without saying that the opportunity to swim, use the sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and have a Decleor spa treatment is all part of a joyful weekend of relaxation. However, true to form, Chevin Country Park and Hotel’s spa takes advantage of its location. In particular, we are partial to the outdoor hot tub surrounded by loungers overlooking the lake.
The location, the space and the way the hotel is set up makes it a great place to head for a weekend with friends. Whether it’s a hen party, birthday celebration or just quality time with people you don’t get to see quite as much as you would like. The aforementioned activities are a great way to simply be together, while the spa can cater for groups of up to 10 people.
Equally, while the hotel has 49 rooms, within the grounds there are self catering lodges and woodland cabins to stay in, at this hotel spa in Yorkshire. Beautifully styled and dreamily rustic, they offer space and privacy for you to spend time together. The Bronte Lodge, for example, is a two-storey lodge that can sleep up to six people.
