Some of the rooms have four-poster beds, and public spaces have log fires in the winter months giving it an extra cosy feel.
Meals are served in their award-winning Welsh restaurant throughout the day. Decadent afternoon teas and gourmet tasting menus are perfect for indulgent experiences, especially when paired with a choice of more than 300 wines from around the world in their dedicated cellar house. For lighter energy boosts, there are also healthy smoothies to start the day.
Set within the grounds of the hotel, the spa is a Scandi-inspired wellness cocoon with a 15-metre swimming pool, an outdoor hot-tub overlooking the lake, a gym and a tennis court. Situated a short walk from the hotel, it's a destination in its own right.
A beautiful part of the experience is the spa treatments. With four treatment rooms, choose from a selection of face and body therapies including luxury ingredients such as champagne, diamonds, and gold, as well as techniques such as hot stone massages and Thai-style massages.
Close to Builth Wells, a market town in Powys, mid-Wales, the hotel is surrounded by rural vistas but within easy reach of inspiring walks and local attractions. Walk in The Brecon Beacons and Snowdonia, while on-site there's croquet, tennis and a Par 3, nine-hole golf-course.
