Whittlebury Hall

Well known as the perfect destination for group spa getaways, Whittlebury Hall has been welcoming guests since 1905 when the golf course opened. It's a world of wellbeing facilities, with separate spa and leisure areas.

Alongside an expansive hotel and 36-hole championship golf course, there's a leisure club which has its own salt sauna, 19-metre swimming pool, newly refurbished gym, a crystal steam room and Jacuzzi. That's before you head to the dedicated, adult-only Heat and Ice Experiences complete with aromatherapy crystal and salt steam rooms, a caldarium, experience showers, foot spas, a hydrotherapy pool, ice cave, sanarium and tepidarium. This is also enormous, so there's lots of space whether you're with a group of friends, just the two of you or on your own. Making sure everyone has time for a treatment or two, the spa has an expansive 32 treatment rooms. Here, they offer a full menu of ESPA and MII nails treatments as well as The LED Light Salon for every preference.

Accessible spa facilities:

  • The Day Spa is located adjacent to the hotel and has a level access from the ground floor.
  • All internal corridors are carpeted throughout, external corridors are paved.
  • Passenger lifts are available between the ground and first floors.
  • There are 32 treatment rooms, two manicure and three pedicure stations, all accessible via a passenger lift.

The Malvern

Because of its natural spring waters, the Worcester town of Malvern is known as a spa town, so it’s only appropriate that it plays home to The Malvern hotel, spa and health club. Dating back to 1910, it's a sophisticated retreat with a tranquil atmosphere throughout. The central feature of the spa is a thermal suite, as well as a host of therapists from holistic face and body treatments to non-surgical CACI facials.

Bedruthan Hotel and Spa

A coastal retreat in picturesque Cornwall, Bedruthan Hotel and Spa is a wonderland of holiday magic for everyone. Famously family-friendly, it's also sophisticated and much loved by adults. Wake to views across the Atlantic, dine on local fare in The Wild Café, Ogo and the Cocktail Bar & Terrace, and then of course there's the spa.

The spa takes in views of the sea and offers a wealth of facilities in an experience inspired by the elements. There's a cedar sauna, eucalyptus steam room, lavender caldarium aroma room, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and traditional hammam. They use their own in-house brand, Oula, in treatments as well as the Ayurvedic brand, Tri-Dosha for facials.

Accessible spa facilities:

  • There is no step-free access to Bedruthan Spa. The spa can be accessed using a flight of stairs with handrails. Alternatively, you can drive along a rear access road which leads directly to the spa.
  • There is a larger changing cubicle with a shower and toilet, designed to be accessible for a wheelchair user and a carer.
  • The spa’s hydropool is accessed by a wide set of steps with a handrail.
  • The thermal spa’s caldarium, steam room and sauna are all on the same level.

Accessible hotel facilities:

  • Accessible bedroom which features a seated shower with assistance rails, a lower toilet and a lower sink basin. Emergency pull cords are fitted in both the bathroom and main bedroom. An illuminated alarm beacon and vibrating pads under the pillows will activate in case of a hotel emergency.
  • All other bedrooms—besides the villa rooms and all but one of the apartments—are accessible via the lift.
  • The central block of Bedruthan is serviced by a lift. Our lift is equipped with raised buttons and audio feedback and provides access to the Wild Café, the Cocktail Bar and outdoor terrace, the Create shop and gallery, the Tranquility Lounge, parts of the Ballroom.
  • Many of Bedruthan’s outdoor spaces, including the dune gardens, may not be suitable for wheelchair users.

Chewton Glen

A five-star country house hotel surrounded by 130 acres of Hampshire countryside on the edge of the New Forest National Park, Chewton Glen is a mesmerising place to spend time. The spa is a destination in its own right, with a pool hall containing a 17-metre lap pool, a hydrotherapy pool with 13 jet stations, a steam room, an outdoor whirlpool and drench showers. Each changing room boasts a 10-seater sauna and an amethyst crystal steam room. There are also 12 treatment rooms using Oskia and Natura Bisse products, and a host of classes, from yoga to Tai Chi.

Careys Manor Hotel & SenSpa

An award-winning hotel in the New Forest, Careys Manor is the height of sophistication and luxury. A magnificent Manor House, there are three on-site restaurants including Le Blaireau, the hotel’s traditional French brasserie-style restaurant, and the Zen Garden.

The SenSpa takes its inspiration from Thailand, and is 22,000 square feet of wellbeing. Amongst its experiences are a 14-metre UV treated swimming pool, a poolside Jacuzzi, a sauna and a steam room. Built amongst the foundations of the 19th-century Thorpe Hall, Lifehouse Spa & Hotel is an ultra contemporary four-star retreat surrounded by immaculate gardens. The restaurant and bar area have been awarded two AA rosettes, and look out onto the character-defining gardens, complete with fruit trees and a lily-filled lake.

The spa is an inextricable part of the experience, imbuing your whole stay with wellbeing. There's a hydro pool, salt room, sauna, steam room, scented experience shower, plunge pool and exercise pool, as well as a dedicated manicure and pedicure area, and two relaxation rooms.
