Ever wondered where's the best place to stay in the world? An analysis of reviews of 1.5 million properties has delivered the results from B&Bs to international hotels, and one of our favourite luxury hotel spa destinations is on the list.
The global list is drawn from Tripadvisor's Travellers' Choice Best of the Best Hotel Awards, now in its third year. On it, Shangri-La The Shard, which occupies floors 34 to 52 of The Shard skyscraper was number one in Europe and the fourth-best in the world. It's incredible infinity pool on floor 52 is a favourite feature.
Shangri-La The Shard General Manager, Kurt Macher, said: "This accolade is a testament to the passion and dedication of our team at Shangri-La The Shard, London, and we are so grateful to our guests who have shared their positive feedback of their stay in the clouds on Tripadvisor."
