Grenada’s premier all-inclusive luxury retreat, Spice Island Beach Resort, has been bestowed the coveted AAA Five Diamond Award for the second consecutive year.
The prestigious AAA Five Diamond rating has only been granted to seven other resorts in the Caribbean and 121 hotels worldwide.
According to AAA, this achievement ranks Spice Island Beach Resort as a leading establishment evaluated by AAA professional inspectors, the hospitality industry and over 57 million AAA/CCA members.
Over 27,000 properties are reviewed by AAA inspectors who use published guidelines to evaluate and rate properties for the AAA Five Diamond Award. Only 0.4 percent of evaluated resorts make the AAA Five Diamond list. The award is the result of inspections and evaluations for 2018 and continues to elevate the resort’s status.
Sir Royston Hopkin KCMG, chairman and managing director of Spice Island Beach Resort said: “We are honoured to receive the prestigious AAA Five Diamond Rating once again as it reflects our commitment to consistently providing guests with the ultimate vacation in paradise. I thank my staff for their hard work and dedication towards exceeding guests’ expectations.”
Michael Petrone, director of AAA Inspections & Diamond Ratings said: “AAA is pleased to recognise Spice Island Beach Resort with the Five Diamond Rating, meaning its unwavering attention to both service and surroundings have placed it into the upper echelon of AAA Inspected and Approved hotels.”
