A four-star retreat, Slaley Hall Hotel has 141 bedrooms on site as well as luxury lodges, all set within a 1000-acre estate. There are two restaurants on-site - the Claret Jug and Hadrian’s Brasserie, while afternoon tea is served at Duke's and there's private dining in the Whisky snug.
Spa facilities include a gym, a 20-metre swimming pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and luxurious relaxation room. The spa has nine treatment rooms including one dual suite where therapists offer a unique collection of Elemis therapies and rituals.
Accessible facilities include:
- There are two disabled rooms, both of which are twin.
- Vibrating pads to assist waking guests with hearing disabilities in the event of a fire alarm are available at reception.
- An evac chair is also available to enable staff, to assist with the emergency evacuation, is available at reception.
- Portable induction loop for use at reception.
- There are three disabled rooms all on the second floor not far from reception.
- The 19th Bar, Brasserie, Duke's Grill and lounge facilities are all situated on the second floor whilst the Claret Jug is located at floor 0.
- Lifts to bedrooms have tactile buttons at standard height.
- Accessible toilet facilities are located behind reception and opposite the Hunting room adjacent to the Claret Jug.
- The health club is located on the ground floor of the hotel, access is via stairs from the hotel, or access can be guided via a lift.
- Access to the pool is via steps, all of which have handrails available to use.
- Once in the spa there is a ramp down to treatment rooms 1 to 5, or treatment rooms upstairs with a nearby lift or access from the main hotel reception.
